On the Fence (2019) was a multimedia art show conceptualized by two Brooklyn based artists, Venusian and K$K. The experience was an exposé highlighting the struggles of navigating love, romance, and situationships in the age of the screenshot.
Together, we constructed an emotional world with two distinct atmospheres: when you’re “in it” - wrapped up in the thrill of new romance and “after it” when you’re disillusioned by the fantasy. Each city experience (Brooklyn and Philadelphia) featured the remnants of tumultuous relationships, complicated friendships, and the results of overthinking…
